Milk hater

I stopped breastfeeding 2 weeks ago can't get my DS to drink milk. I've tried homo, goat's 2 so far but every time I can convince him to take a sip, he spits it out. My pedi said to just keep trying at every meal, and I will, but just curious if there's any other advice out there. Thanks!

    You can try a little strawberry syrup or making smoothies.

    Smoothies were great for us, I even threw some kale in with the fruit and she was none the wiser.

    In addition, my DD loved drinking from a cup with no cover. In teh highchair I put it up and help her with it and she will drink a lot more that way than she does with a sippy cup

    Have you tried transitioning -- mixing BM and milk together and gradually make it a higher ratio of milk, and then finally all milk? This worked wonders for Abby.

    This was Nora until recently. She's ended up digging the organic milk more, for some reason. I don't know what the difference in taste is, but it's working. I struggled for a while getting her to drink any milk besides me, and she now asks for it. I kept trying at every meal with various brands, and we have finally had success after about 6 weeks of work.

    Missy has a good point . I can taste the difference in brands of milk. Organic milk tastes better to me, it's richer. Some brands stink to me as soon as you open them and I can't drink it.
