Phone posting, sorry for format issues! My water broke at 2:30 yesterday morning. Contractions started around 3:30, we checked in at the hospital around 8. I got to 7 cm by noon, but then stalled for 4 hours. They recommended an epi and I practically begged for it at that point. Got pitocin about an hour later at 5 and the combo got me to 10 cm. Pushing started at 6:00, and Henry was born at 7:29. He was 9 lbs, 2 oz! Big boy! He is either 23 or 21 inches...they gave it to us in cm, DH converted it and now I can't remember which one he said. I hand a 2nd degree tear, but its not bothering me too much.
Henry is feeding like a champ, I have been told by my doula and the post partum nurse that I have perfect nipples...that's an odd complement. I'll try to post pix of Henry when I get home on a real computer!

I did cry at reading the DH post, what a lovely thing to say...Im so glad everything went so well. Im thinking of naming my son (if we have a boy) Henry too!
