In addition to an ear infection, DD is now throwing up. She started around 2:30 and has thrown up 3 times. I don't know if it's just another symptom of the infection, the antibiotic, or a virus. I am a sad, sad Mommy right now. I feel so helpless.

    Poor baby and poor mom. It sounds like the meds could be upsetting her stomach? I can't take aspirin and now Tylenol either without barfing. Sounds like a call to the pedi is in order.

    Poor girl and mommy! I would start keeping track of the amount of fulids she takes, the pedi will want to know if she's still eating, how much, and if she just throws it all up. Pedi will want to know to keep track of hydration. You may want to go buy some Pedialyte to help with the hydration and electrolytes.

    I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with this and far from home, too.  Maybe she's allergic to the antibiotic?

    I called the PA who prescribed the meds and she said to make sure to keep ice chips in her to try to keep her hydrated. We bought some Pedialyte for later. She doesn't want anything. She's sleeping again right now. Praying she starts feeling better really soon.
