Need outfit advice

I keep changing my mind on Holiday picture outfits for DD and DS. DD will be wearing a red sweater with a red, black, and cream plaid skirt (there's a lot of cream in it). I need help with DS's outfit. I'm not sure if either of the below will be a good choice.
