this morning I was trying to get E to calm down... Since te pacifier wasn't close enough, I taught him how to suck his thumb. Mommy fail, but desperate times call for desperate measures

I worry that on this board I complain about the deployment too much. I'm really not crazy miserable, promise!

I was kissing Z this morning and she spit up all over my face. My toddler had just woken up from a nap so I left her camped out in front of the TV while I showered. I did however take the baby into the bathroom with me since I can't leave them alone together.

I left LO in her bouncer downstairs while 2yo big sister and I went upstairs to switch out the laundry. The 2yo grabbed the fresh diaper I had pulled for LO and went downstairs a couple minutes before me. When I got downstairs lo's wet diaper was off and DD was doing her best to put the new one on. Thank god it wasn't a poopy diaper!

My in laws are supposed to come
Up for thanksgiving. They constantly flake out at the very last minute. They have visited us here 3x in 5 years, but stayed a week when William was born.

Yesterday they called DH with some lame brain excuse as to why they probably won't make it here for thanksgiving after all. He is really upset. I am ecstatic.

Also William and I have been sacked out in the bed snuggling all day watching Supernatural on Netflix. I have no plans to move for the rest of the day either. DH is on a business trip since yesterday morning and won't be home til late tonight.

My aunt watches dd on thursdays so I can catch up at work. I love the alone time and I really don't start missing my dd until the end of the day. it's just so nice being able to go to the bathroom whenever I want!

also I originally had "daughter" written in this post but changed it to DD because it sounded funny.

Mmmmmm.....brownies! I have devoured all sweets in the house. Now I have brownies on the brain. Is there a way I can con MIL to bring some for Thanksgiving?

i usually rinse but i have been know to lick it off if she is screaming.

I will jump on the "lick the paci clean" wagon. Now that I am sick I find it annoying to go to the sink so I bought those paci wipes at the store yesterday. I kinda feel lazy.

My confession is that I LOVE the boo boo face DS makes when he is about to scream bloody murder. Luckily the boo boo face comes a good 30 sec before so at least if I catch it I know it's bottle time and I better be quick about it. His various faces are adorable, sometimes what comes after is not (ie. poop, scream)

Another confession, I housed 2 bags of candy pretty much on my own within the past week. Frozen snickers and almost melted reese pb cups are my weakness. Damn you cancelled Halloween (postponed twice then cancelled).
