Occasional wine while BF?

Hi Ladies,

I am sure this has been asked numerous times, but this is my first time posting on this board. I'm just curious - do any of you have a glass of wine here and there? I'm not planning on getting trashed or anything but it would be nice to have a glass of pinot noir with dinner once LO is born!

Go for it! If I've had a good meal, I'll partake in a beverage and nurse. I limit myself to 1, unless I know that I won't be nursing for awhile, and then I get crazy and have 2. Any more than that and I wake with a hangover.

It is absolutely fine. When i want to have a beer, I try to time it so I have it right after I feed LO. Sometimes, I might even have two (gasp). I'm perfectly fine by the time he needs to eat again.
