Age for Wreck-it Ralph

My dad wants to take DS to the movies this weekend and that is all I see for kids movies. DS is 3. Is that too young for Wreck-It Ralph??? DS loves movies and will sit through one but afraid he won't if it's too over his head.

DD saw it at our niece's birthday party and she sat through it and enjoyed it as well. There are some scenes that are "violent" and attitudes that some parents might take issue to.
