I guess it's time to start thinking about Christmas gifts. I'm having a hard time coming up with an idea for my Mom. She has EVERYTHING and more than one of everything.
So, what are you planning on getting your Mom for Christmas?
My mom does too and so does my mil. For my mom my sisters and I get together and get her something fancy from Sur Le Table or some other fancy cooking store. IMO, you can never have enough kitchen towels or potholders. For my mil, I usually get her jewelry I'm a Stella and Dot stylist or clothes, scarf or something coffee or wine related. DH's family goes all out but mine doesn't, at all. Usually my mom and dad take everyone to grand cayman. That's our gift. They don't expect anything back.
What about wine or food and some pretty dish towels? Would she like that?

We never know what to get our parents for Christmas or birthdays. Last year we talked about changing Christmas presents so we bought each other experiences instead of stuff. In the past we have gotten her gift certificates for massages, manicures, pedicures, movies, etc. This past summer my parents really got into working in their yard more. Their birthdays are a week apart so we got them a gift card to a store where they could get plants, bushes, and other things for their yard.
I'm not sure, my mom and MIL also have everything. We usually get them some kind of home decor.
Last year, we had a photographer friend take photos of all of my siblings, S/Os, and DD (the only grandchild). We had the best shot printed on a 16 x 20 photo canvas and my mom LOVED it. We also bought a family photo collage set and filled all of those frames with photos of various family members so my mom could hang everything in a big display. It will be hard to top that gift this year.
My brother and I are going in a color Nook. I am also thinking about getting her a new Tervis mug/cup and maybe a new bag from Vera Bradley (she loves both these things).
My Mom is also the lady who has everything she possibly would want, because she just buys it. So it is really hard to shop for her.
