Thanksgiving Menu

What's on your Thanksgiving Menu this year?

In the past, Thanksgiving has drawn a big crowd and everyone usually chips in and brings a dish. This year my in laws are going out of town, and out of town relatives aren't flying in so we are left with a small gathering of 6. I'm at a loss for what to make.

This is what I have on the menu so far:

  • Turkey
  • Green Bean Casserole
  • Sweet Potato Casserole
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Stuffing
  • Dessert (mom is bringing some sort of pie)
  • Baked Brie for appetizer

I feel like my menu is incomplete (I guess because usually we have a huuuge spread).

    I think your menu looks great. 

    I'm working on making the roast chicken that is being discussed below.

    Umm... Stuffing

    I think I'll do mashed potatoes, but I might just throw them in with the chicken?

    Cranberry sauce

    I'll probably throw some carrots in with the chicken? lol

    Oh and rolls. 

    Crap I totally forgot about dessert, so I guess I'll have to get some kind of pie.  

    Hahaha My menu is weak.

    Turkey

    mashed potatoes

    salad 

    cranberry sauce

    home made bread

    typically a greenbean caserole

    cheese cake

    We will have various appetizers, including fresh veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, brie and cranberry tartlets, etc. The main meal will consist of:

    turkey

    stuffing

    mashed potatoes and gravy

    roasted veggies

    creamed corn

    green salad

    rolls

    sweet potato bake

    cranberry relish

    And, for dessert, apple pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and probably some sort of cheesecake. Oh, and fresh whipped cream, of course!

    Deep fried turkey

    Cornbread, Bacon, and Chestnut stuffing

    Greenbean casserole

    Squash casserole

    Mashed potatoes

    Mac and cheese 

    Crusty bread

    Homemade cranberry sauce

    Pumpkin pie

    Earthquake cake
