Holy cow that is amazing!!! I don't know if I could have that kind of discipline to actually eat that much every single day.

lol did you hear what the male announcer said at the end there?
"I know from personal experience, that with multiples, if they weigh over 5 lbs you get to take them home right away, no NICU time."
LOL THAT's funny!
God gave me a double portion for my inheritance with my little Mighty men 9/19/10 Baby A born at 1:47 am 6lbs 14oz, 20.5inches long. Baby B born at 3:20 am 6lbs 6oz, 19.5inches long. My double blessing!:)
To be honest this whole thing pisses me off a little. They don't mention in that video she also carried them till 37+ weeks I mean great for her she carried them that long all great weights and healthy but it is a little slap in the face to the rest if us who could not do it. I feel like it kind of says if I ate more my trio would have stayed baked longer and been bigger. I was lucky to eat 3000 cal a day I could not eat most the time and had GD just eating a lot does not keep them in and I carried to 35+ weeks and had 4&5lb babies. In another article they also say the were "complelty natural" which upset people also. It is great they set a record but they need to word things better and not make it sound like her massive eating is how she kept them in that long.

That comment totally annoyed me. One of my daugters was 5 lb 10.5 oz, but she still had 2 weeks in the NICU. I hate when people think that weight is the only thing that determines NICU time.
yeah I thought he was pretty gutsy to say it! My boys were born 38w1day and both over 6+ lbs...and had to stay in the NICU--one for 2 days and one for 3 days. It wasn't a lot of time there...but still, they were "wimpy" and certainly did not "come home right away because they were over 5lbs". Oh, the things presumptious tv people can say

I messed that up.... I tried to quote what Trips+1mom said and completly agree with her! While I applaud that mama for being so committed, there are lots of mamas just as committed to their growing babies but there are so many other variables!
