Im exact opposite! Im fine with closet doors being open, and our bathroom door open, but I CANNOT sleep with our actual bedroom door open... never have been able to.

We keep the door open, unless we have overnight guests. I don't like having the door closed now that LO is sleeping in her own room. I just realized, we're having guests for Thanksgiving and the guest room in next to the nursery. I don't want LO to wake them up at night, I hope with her door and our door closed I can hear her in time. Oh well... my parents will understand.
I put open but I would rather close it. I usually go to bed before my H and will shut it before I get into bed. Well, then he comes up for bed, gets in the closet and doesn't shut it. Lol. Very annoying!
Edited: I forgot the second part of the question! We leave the bedroom door cracked open so we can hear my 5 year old if we need to. We also need to keep it mostly closed so the dog doesn't try to go down the stairs by herself (she is very old).
Bed room door open but the closet must be closed. My boys don't even have doors, they had lead paint on them and I've never gotten around to stripping them.
Re: Silly Poll of the Day!

Closets - open out of convenience
Room - closed because we have a pet bunny and the bedrooms aren't bunny-proofed.
