Baby Bath for a big 4 MO old
I need some help with trying to find my DS a tub. We have an infant to toddler tub that he is Just Too big for the infant side 27 inches long at 4 months and is not yet ready to sit up on his own for the backless toddler side. I've tried laying him in the big bath tub with a couple towels underneath but he wants to roll and turn to the side which when he does gets a face full of water! And suggestions on a tub for big babies or even other suggestions on what else to try for bath time? TIA!

I have a big boy, too and he grew out of his little tub around 4 months as well. I bought this tub and it worked much better.

It's a good size tub and the sling just sits in the bottom. It doesn't have the supports at the crotch that make it uncomfortable for a big baby and the slant on it is just enough to provide enough support for a little guy that doesn't sit yet. My son really liked being sprayed with the hose, too! Now he's over 8 months (and almost 32 inches long) and we still use the tub (minus the sling obviously) for every bath. It beats filling up the whole tub with water and there's still lots of room for him to splash around and play with his toys.

We had this! DS was huge at 4 months old he was in 6-12 month clothing!

we just used a sling seat (like the one in PPs link but just the seat) and put it in the big bath tub until she could sit up. Never needed an infant bath!
We have this and it is HUGE. My 16 month old still fits comfortably in it. DH loves using it (he does bath time most nights) even though I've told him it's time for her to use the bath like a big girl lol.
