Meds

I wrote a bit about it in my blog but today is an overwhelming day. I read all of these posts filled with excitement when people receive their meds.

Re: Meds

  • I was overwhelmed when I got them too. The key is to just pull out what you will be using right now , keep the rest put away. That way it makes it simpler and you don't worry about the things you don't need yet.

100% agree with this. The amount is really overwhelming but just take it a day at a time and only worry about what you're taking that day not what you have to take in the next week and you'll get through it! GL!

  • I did the same thing as you! I piled them all up, took a pic, and sent pic to DH. I thought I was going to have a heart attack! I found it all to be 10x easier than I thought. You don't use all those needles, half are just for drawing up and mixing and they send you extras. I did not touch any of the pain meds. I found it easier on my brain to separate the before retrieval stuff and hide the rest so I didn't have to look at it all! Good luck and please don't be overwhelmed, it's much easier than it looks.

  • Mine are coming tomorrow and I'm nervous at how I'm going to react to the amount of them.  I'm sure it's overwhelming!  I agree with pp...just try to take it one med at a time...that's what I'm going to do...but again, I don't have my meds yet so I'm sure i'll be in the same boat!

  • I spent some time preparing so I didn't freak out when my meds arrived. My suggestion is to spend some time with the stuff you can control. Buy or make a cute container for storing everything, pick out funny band aids, or pick up some rewards for getting through the shots ( I did daily rewards for myself!) good luck to you!
