Any SS carriers that allow facing out?

DS1 was perfectly happy facing me in the Ergo.  DS2 isn't a huge fan. He seems happier in the Moby when I face him out, but the Moby is a pain and just isn't comfortable for me. I also have a Maya wrap, but no clue how to use it (it was given to me.)  Are there any SS carriers that allow the baby to face out?  I don't want a Bjorn either.  (And, yes, I know there are reasons why they shouldn't face out, but I figure it will be okay for home.)  Thanks!

  • I would research "facing out" more.. there are a lot of conflicting opinions regarding this position within the babywearing community.. some research suggests facing outward, regardless of the carrier, puts unnatural strain to the baby's hips and could potentially cause damage down the road.  I've gotten a lot of heat in the past (on a different group) for facing DS outwards.
