Preemies

"Newborn" pictures???

We are talking about going home in a week to 10 days :) and I, or course, want to get "newborn" pictures. I have talked to the photographer that I will use, she has done other things for our family, and she is all ready to go with one simple phone call. I have been thinking about it a lot harder only because it will require me to take LO out of the house to her studio. He will be on oxygen. It's not so much the travel experience that I'm concerned about, I need to get used to that anyways, it's more the germs that I'm worried about. Thoughts, opinions, personal experiences wanted... Thanks in advance!

Can she come to your house? That's what we did. Much easier.

I agree with this.  If she can come to your house, it'll save you some of the hassle of packing everything up and heading out.

Agreed. I wouldn't take a preemie on oxygen out for pictures during flu, cold, and RSV season. But I would have no problem bringing a photographer to my house as long as they were healthy.

  • Thanks everyone that is pretty much what I was thinking too. She came to our house to do our engagement pictures so I don't see why she wouldn't for this.
  • I'd also have her come to the house!
