Lol- we were just at the pedi yesterday and asked this exact question! He said 16 oz/day is best, 20 is ok if he really wants more milk- more than that would be too much. He also said to switch to 2% now. Water on demand is fine. If your kid is a big drinker (like mine), I know they recommend offering food first so they don't fill up on milk, and offer the milk 2nd. We don't use juice, but he said if we did offer it, to have it be 100% juice and no more than 6oz/day.
Not much. Right around 2, for some reason, he started not drinking it as much. He used to have probably 2 cups/16 oz. and now I'm not sure. On the weekends, I'd say he probably gets 8 oz. During the week, I really don't know how much he gets at DCP. He only drinks water. I'm not concerned. He eats cheese, yogurt, etc.
We do about 14ish oz of 2% milk a day and then she gets at least one serving of dairy from other sources. She would drink it all day if we let her, but I don't want it to affect her appetite, plus I think it's good for kids to be used to drinking just plain old water
My son just doesn't like to drink. He is given milk at breakfast, lunch and dinner and water in between. On a really really good day we can get 12-15 ounces of milk and on average 6-10 ounces.
On a school day he may drink about 8 ounces of water, but normally just 2-4 ounces.
She gets about 16ozs of 1% milk/day (1 cup in the am and 1 in the pm). She has water the rest of the time and a few times a week she gets a 4oz Fruitables juice box.

He eats a ton of fruit so he stays hydrated.
