Humidifier

in Babies: 0 - 3 Months
Anyone using one? I am not but LO has had a cough since starting daycare a month ago and it's worse at night and becoming more productive. Another baby in daycare has a confirmed case of croup. Reading up on croup, it says a humidifier could help. Not sure if I should do hot, cold, or brands, etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

    We've been running a cool air humidifier since DS was born. I love it.

    my older DD had croup before. the cool mist humidifier is what was recommended. we have one by Vicks. even though u can't use it at this age it also allows you to use vapor strips. I got it at target.

    We have one. We set it up in our room since that's where DD's bassinet is, and got it up and running a few weeks before she arrived to test it out. You know, for quality assurance. 

    I'm not sure if it's made a difference for her or not, since she's slept with it since we came home, but it's definitely helped me out, and I plan on getting one for us once we move LO to her own room.

    We just started using a cool mist humidifier as DD kept waking up in the morning with boogers. It helps keep them moist so she can get them out.
