CP and AW - Last day of work before leave!

37w2d

I can't believe I made it this far! Today is my last day of work before maternity leave. I have been working solid 50 hour work weeks for the last 6 months. I am exhausted but I know it will be worth it. I didn't want to waste any of my leave before the babies were here, so as long as they and I were doing good I just kept going. My csection is 5 days away so I am hoping for a few days to relax and spend some extra cuddle time with my 2 year old.

Yes to the desk job.  My work bought me a new chair with a memory foam seat and lumbar support and that helped tremendously.  I also brought in my nursing stool and used that under my desk.  Frequent breaks (just 2-3 minutes at a time) and walks around the parking lot.

It was hard but I wanted all of my leave for after the babies were here.  Now I can say it was worth it!
