I have only posted a couple of times, but I know there some newly pregnant 40+ ladies here.  I will be 42 when I deliver and just had a perfect level II anatomy scan. I know it can be scary being older and wanted to share good news.  I know I felt encouraged by hearing positive stories from my friends who had pregnancies in their 40s.  Best to all.

    I go in for my A/S in two weeks. I hope I get the same happy news! Thanks for sharing yours!

    Good for you! I am 43 and will be very close to 44 when I deliver. I just had my A/S today, and it was perfect! In fact, we also got the numbers from my integrated screening (1st trimester screen plus 2nd trimester screen) and the numbers were also great! We had already received negative MaternIT21 results, so we are feeling pretty good!

    I just turned 43 and we have our NT scan this week.  Congratulations on your great results and I hope we all get the same.

    I am and will be 40 when our baby girl arrives in Feb. Thought I would pass on our positive news. Our quad scan results were normal as well as our Level III which we had at 20 wks. All is going well, now just to finish this out! Happy pregnancies ladies!

    My LO is 6 weeks old now, but I wanted to chime in because I remember feeling relieved whenever I read about ama mothers with good test results.   I am 41 and all my tests had come back fine as well.

    43 here my 19 month old was born with out issues, and LO who is due in 2 weeks shows no signs of any issues.  Yes ladies we can have healthy babies at our ages.

    That is wonderful news and so encouraging to me.  I just found out I was pregnant this week.  SURPRISE!!!  I'm 43, but will be close to 44 on my due date.  I think I'm only 5 weeks along, but don't have an appointment with my OB for another 2.5 weeks.  Waiting is so hard!  I had a blighted ovum at 39, so I'm extra nervous about this pregnancy.  Glad to know I'm not the only "old lady" out there!

    I had DS at 41 and am now newly pregnant at 43.  I'm a little nervous about this pregnancy as I have had 2 prior losses, but I'm trying to stay positive and hoping for the best!

    That's how I was - at my NT the MFM basically told me to go have a happy baby. He saw no reason for me to come back unless I wanted him to do my a/s. He also told me that he felt I'd be a perfect candidate to have another baby if we decide we want to.

    My dr said they have tons of women in the 40's and sometimes genetic issues can happen with ladies in their 20's!!!! Congrats!
