Scared tp please.

Just got back from our twin a/s. We are having a reveal party with some family tomorrow to find out the sex for ourselves. Only problem with today appt is that I'm 20 weeks and my cervix is measuring short. Between 1 2 somewhere I believe she said 1.75 I can't remember. I was put on vaginal progesterone pills and am left so confused. If this doesn't work, I go on bed rest next week. But my OB never said how likely this is to work and I just want to know if anyone has had this happened and if you could give me any idea of how likely it is to go to full term still.

    Vaginal progesterone and bed rest helped me make it to 34 weeks after going into PTL starting at 23 weeks. Making small goals helped me get through all those weeks though. Good luck, mama. I hope it helps you too.

    All you can do is take it a week at a time. Small goals. Focus on getting to 24 weeks first. After that focus on getting to 28 and so on. Sending T&Ps. Try to have fun tomorrow! Keep us posted!

    I was put on bed rest at 27 weeks and a week later I was in the hospital because of preterm labor but the medication that I was given helped control my contractions and I was on strict bed rest at home. My cervix was also short and my boys were positioned extremely low in my belly. My water broke naturally and my boys were born at 37 weeks and their perfectly healthy! Take it one week at a time and definitely take it easy. Wishing you all the very best!

    Make sure not to overdo it at your reveal party.  Keep your feet you as much as possible.  There are a lot of woman who have been put on bedrest/progestrone and their LO's came out fine.  Sending good vibes your way :)

    I have had a couple of times where my cervix started to shorten and put on pelvic rest and modified rest, and it always lengthened but never severe enough for the progesterone. 

    I second the above opinions to just take it as easy as possible!
