The ones I am using now say 0-9 months. I plan on using them until he can put a blanket on himself. He kicks blankets off so sleep sacks are great!
You're using a blanket in his crib? That can be a suffocation hazard so be careful. I'm glad the sleep sack is working for you as an alternative.
OP, we used a sleep sack with my oldest until he was in his big boy bed, so you can use them a long time. Covering themselves with a blanket won't happen for a long time!
We stopped with DS#1 when he started to be able to get up on his hands and knees. He would try to move in his sleep and get stuck and it would just wake him up completely and make him angry.

DS is 15 months and is still wearing a sleepsack, my husband makes fun of me because the ones that we just got are humongous, it's lg size but he's not ready to be without it yet since he does cover himself and I worry he'll be cold so he'll stay with a sleep sack unil he's able to cover himself.

This. DD1, 3 yo, covers herself maybe 10% of the time.
DD1 can get into bed and cover herself easily and has for a long time, so its possible. Today she napped on the floor after playing and had pulled ger pillow down and covered up with a throw that had been folded on her bed. So unless they love it they might not need it much past a year.
I stopped the sleep sack at a year since DD is a summer baby and started using a light blanket which I was very comfortable with.
We stopped the sleep sacks when she finally outgrew the largest size. She was a little over 2 years old. I would still have her in them if I could find ones big enough! And she could walk around in them fine. She looked like Maggie Simpson when she did!

Just so the OP knows, both my kids had no problem getting up and walking around with their sleep sacks on, so it's possible.

I think we are going to use them until we potty train (Around 2 yrs)
My DD can walk along her crib wearing hers. It took a few tries, and a bit of frustration at first, but she's got it now.
