Nickname for Caroline

We are thinking of using the name Caroline and we can't agree on a nickname. I like Callie DH likes Carly. What do you think?

    This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! 
    DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.
    131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
    We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

    My friend is Carolyn and goes by Lynsay. 

    I like Carrie for Caroline, but honestly prefer Caroline as a stand alone, and I'm a NN person!!

    We decided on the name Caroline for our little girl, so I love your name choice!! We can't use Carly as a nickname as it is my niece's name. We decided if we use a nickname it will be Cara. I really liked the nickname Callie, but in the end we decided Cara. Good luck to you! Really all three name choices are beautiful and she will be a lucky girl with any! :)

    Caroline is one of my top choices too... i'm trying to get DH on board. :)

    When I was pregnant with my Caroline, I wanted to call her Callie. Now she is Caroline, Care Bear, Line, or Liney. Caroline is such a great stand alone name... just wait and see what suits her best.

    Caro is a NN I've heard in this area for Caroline, its what made me love the name.

    We are naming our DD Caroline. We don't plan on using a real nickname, but I think Cara is a cute nn. I will probably call her Care Bear or Care occasionally when she's young.

    Good choice! I haven't had any bad reactions and we've shared her name with everyone who asks.

    Caroline is on our short list for a girl. Love it! I don't think of it as a name that needs a nickname, really.
