Recommendations for good doulas in Houston/medical center

Hi,

Can someone give me any good recommendation on doula?s in Houston? I am mostly looking for some support and guidance during my labor.

Are there any doula?s who work near medical center? I was also looking for someone who would charge reasonably.

    Hi there! I recommend going to the BIRTH fair this weekend (houbirth.org). There are SO MANY great doulas in the area! I am a doula and have many lovely doula sisters that I adore and would recommend in a heartbeat, and not many of us won't go to Med Center. If you are looking for a lower priced doula, you can look into a new-er doula who will charge anywhere from 400-600... while more seasoned doulas will charge anywhere from 600-900... Basically, you really need to MEET a few doulas and see what is the best personality fit for you, not every doula can be the perfect doula for every perfect pregnant mama :)

    I'm using Jessica at TLC Doula group too. My Dr., Dr. Jonathan Espana, at the Women's Pavilion really likes her and highly recommends her too.
