I know I for one feel a little lonely as an EPer so I thought a check in for us might be nice, just don't expect me to remember every week, haha.
Do you EP by choice or by circumstance?
How old is your LO/ how long have you EP'd?
Do you wear nursing bras/shirts to make pumping access easier?
Do you bring your pump everywhere or schedule outings around pumps?
Vents this week?
What are you happy about this week?

Re: ~*~* EP Checkin ~*~*
EP was never my choice, but after a month of struggles, tongue tie, bleeding nipples and a baby who was always fussy because he couldn't transfer milk we decided it was for the best.
Raylan is almost 7 weeks, I have been pumping almost from the start, we finally dropped the BF attempts at every feeding around 4 weeks.
I can't decide if I should wear nursing clothes or not, part of me feels silly because I'm not nursing, but it is so much easier to pump with a top that is nursing accessible...that's why I asked this question!
i bring my pump to like my parents house...but pumping has really limited what I feel like I can do during the day, so I'm curious what others are doing?
My vent is I hate pumping and DH and I agreed at the very beginning (or so I thought) that we would give BM until 6 months old and then switch once he was eating food....well then the other day DH claims he never said that and wants him to get it for a year. WTF. I'm sick of my life and plans being controlled by this pump and I don't feel like having a huge argument over it.
we have been giving 2 bottles of formula each night so I can freeze those two pumps, normally around 6-8 oz so I can at least stop pumping a little earlier than he gets the milk. Yesterday I pumped enough to freeze my goal amount with only 1 formula bottle at night...hoping this may be a trend? Maybe I could get to where I can freeze and cut the formula all together?

You are not alone in the world of EPing. I know exactly how you feel.
I started EPing for many of the same reasons Petunia. DD just wasn't geting the hang of it and once I discovered I could produce enough milk to keep her happy, I stopped fighting to BF. It made DD and myself much happier and was the right choice for us in the long run.
I am currently 10 months into EPing. I am lucky enough to still produce enough milk in order to not have to supplement. My body and DD seem to be decreasing the amount needed at the same rate so I am thankful for that. My goal is to make it another 2 months and then slowly intro WCM.
I wear regualr clothes but use nursing bras. Its easier to pump with my boobs propped up instead of flapping in the wind. I pump everywhere because once you go back to work, you need to be flexible.
I too hate to pump. I hate having to stop what I am doing esp on the weekend to go off and pump. It is so annoying. I also hate worrying if I'll have enough. I worry everyday that all of a sudden my supply will tank.
I am happy that I made it to the 10 month mark this week. I am happy that even though I wasn't able to BF, I can EP thus keeping me from having AF yet.

Thanks for doing this! I felt pretty alone too.
Do you EP by choice or by circumstance? I am a little bit of both on this one, I always wanted to pump so that way DH could be involved in feedings, but I thought I would be able to BF too. With flat nipples, a baby that has a poor latch, it taking 4 days to get my milk in, sore/cracked/bleeding nipples, and low milk supply I decided it would be best to EP, and supplement with formula since I still don't make enough for LO.
How old is your LO/how long have you EP'd? LO will be exactly a month old tomorrow, and I have EP'd since she was about a week old.
Do you wear nursing bras/shirts to make pumping access easier? I wear a nursing bra or nursing tanks, but I also bought the Medela bra that allows you to pump hands-free.
Do you bring your pump everywhere or schedule outings around pumps? I am still trying to figure this out, sometime I take my pump with me, and sometimes I schedule around pumpings, I guess it depends on where I am going.
Vents this week? I just wish I could get more milk!
What are you happy about this week? My supply is very slowly increasing...
