WTF Fisher Price? WTF?

DS Has this guy:

He plays with him all the time.  DS just yacked all over this guy. I went to go wash that guy and guess what?  Surface wash only.  Who makes a stuffed toy of babies that can't go in the washing machine?!!  I am tempted to chuck him and go get a new one because this one is going to smell like upchuck forever.

    J has that puppy too, can you take out the hard box underneath the velcro? If you throw it away, it means you don't have to hear "HUG ME" or "I LOVE YOU" randomly.

    Gator has the FP Snugamonkey stuffed thing that is like the seahorse that plays music. It says surface wash only. I took the music part out and put it on the gentle cycle and air fluff dry. Good as new.

    Bummer! Is there anyway you can disassemble the battery part to wash the soft part?!?

    I remember a bumpie on the SAHM board who had an issue with a fisher price toy. She called the company and they sent her a new one and made them a "toy testing" family. Now she gets free toys for her kids to test and just has to submit feedback. 

    If you can't figure out a way to wash it you can at least call and complain.

    You make an amazing point.  The box is attached to the inside of the dog.  It doesn't just come out which is super awesome.  You can pull it out but it's sewn into the dog. I just dunked him into the sink with the box pulled out. Scrubbed him down with some laundry soap and he's hanging to dry by his sound box.  Hopefully he survived.

    People who design "surface clean only" toys or products for kids....obviously don't have children.
