Any Cameleon owners do this? I know the "official" Bugaboo instructions are to not do this because of liability. I am trying to decide between the Cameleon and the Bee, and if the Cameleon allows me to not waste money on a bassinet for the first 3 months it is a factor. Obviously, the concern is if the baby gets enough air circulation, if it is stable and safe, and if there is any real addition SIDS risk.
Re: Bugaboo Cameleon bassinet for night time sleeping?
We did this several times with DD. We used to take her for a walk at night in the bassinet and of course she would fall asleep. I just let her sleep the night away in the bassinet. Personally, I don't see the difference between that and a bassinet. We moved her to her crib at one month.
With that being said, with DS, we bought a RNP. It took up less room in our bedroom.
