Day Care in Stamford/Darien, CT

Hi All,

I am in due in Jan and just beginning to look for a day care for our little one. Anyone have suggestions on good day care centers or in home day cares in the area? Any help would be great!

    Hi Nicole,

    I'm due in dec and am thinking about sending my little one to Bright Horizons-First Stamford Place in Stamford.  I went to their open house and fell in love with the place.  Hope this helps!  Good Luck!

    Hi Nicole, 

     

    I have two friends with children in daycare in the Stamford area. One sends her 3 year old and 6 month old to Building Blocks and absolutely loves it there. Another friend sends her 4 year old and 18 month old to the JCC.

     

    I personally have no experience with Bright Horizons, but I've heard there is one in Stamford that is better than the other. Again- this is just feedback from a few other moms (but not from my own experience.)

    Nicole,

    I have also begun to look into Bright Horizons but the high ridge location. I am due in May so wont be needing daycare till August. Have you found any other locations of interest?

    We are at Safe and Sound Daycare in Norwalk (right off exit 14) and its great!
