Unanticipated day off & no LO

So I got sent home from work because I had the nurse check my throat and she saw white spots..went to doctor but won't have results for strep test til tomorrow..work won't let me come back until I know the results and have started antibiotics if positive for strep.

LO seems fine and daycare said they'd keep her so I could relax...Any ideas on what I should do? This is only the 2nd time I've been home without LO.

    Watch TV and nap! That is what I would do in your situation. I find rest heals sickness the quickest. Along with antibiotics.

    That sound sounds like dream!  Am I a bad mom if I said I would love it if someone took him away for the day? or night or week?  No, just day.

    I was feeling guilty but I called DH at work and he told me to enjoy it and rest..he even said he'd pick LO up from daycare. It's weird to be home without LO..

    Watch TV and nap.  Love my LO but a day home alone sounds like a dream to me.
