Dd is still sleeping in her pack n play right next to the bed. I LOVE having her next to me. She is at the weight limit for the bassinet part of the pnp so I need to make a move. I'm assuming I should get her in her crib in her own room but I just love having her in my room. Bed sharing sounds like a nice idea, but I really don't trust myself. Ugh I just don't know what I should do. Any advice or words of encouragement? Thanks, ladies!
Re: Dd still sleeping in my room....I need to do something
You sound like me two years ago with DD
. I bit the bullet and put her in her crib and she slept great, me not so much ha ha. She went from sleeping 6 to8 to sleeping 12. I think we were waking her up. I moved DS at 4 months by almost 5 he has been sleeping 12 hours too.
My parents let my brother sleep in their bed...he is now 22 and will still crawl into their bed...usually they aren't it it, but just sayin' be careful whatever you decide to do.
Our littl eman has been in the crib from the day we brought him home and he sleeps great. usually 10.5 to 11 hours (8:30 to 7ish)...sometimes longer...but not usaully.
exactly one of the notions that has been changed - that bedsharing with an infant somehow leads to weird adults who behave inappropriately.
This is a good idea.
Also maybe you could move her crib into your room if you have the space? My DS is in his crib next to our bed.
We just moved the crib into our room for now
