How Long Will This Last?

Please, someone tell me that their 4 month wakeful thing has already come and gone! I have read varying info about it, some sources say a few days to a week, while others say it can last weeks... Aaah, when experts disagree! If you are going through it, or did already, how long did it last? Or how long has it been so far?

    Oh yeah, I meant to add that ours had started last Monday, I think.

    The tough part for me is that I worry about the waking becoming a habit that will last beyond the phase. I go to her when she wakes but don't want it to become the new norm, obviously.

    Well... at 2.5 months DS went from sleeping five hour stretches to waking up every 1.5 to 2 hours... It lasted until 4 months... seven very long weeks!

    The past two weeks he started giving me five hour stretches again... I even got an EIGHT hour stretch... I was totally psyched!

     Then... three nights ago he started waking up a half hour after I put him down, and then every 45 minutes to 1.5 hours :(

    Needless to say I have no idea what the heck is going on... I am assuming that the 2.5 months to 4 months wakeful period was something entirely different and that NOW we are going through the 4 month wakeful... praying it doesn't last another 2 months :(

    When was daylight savings here? About 5 weeks ago I think... Which is when all the sleeping patterns went to hell in a hand basket.

    I think I got lucky, we only had a 3 night blip. I'm not convinced that we are out of the woods yet. Baby is 19 weeks now....

    2.5 weeks for us.  She also had a cold during that time so I think that added to the length

    IF that is what we are going through, it has lasted over 4 weeks :( I'm not sure if that is what's going on though since its lasted so long. It has def not been fun.
