New to area, new to this board :)

Hi, I just moved recently to San Marcos from South Orange County (not too far).  I just found this board today. :)

I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a perinatologist (OB for high-risk PG) that delivers at Scripps Encinitas?

 I have been seeing my doctors in OC and yesterday I talked to my doctor about the distance and she suggested I look into finding a doctor down here - I found Scripps online just now and I would rather make the 15 mile drive than almost 60 I was making... I don't really want to risk having the baby in the car!  I really loved my doctors and hospital but Scripps seems nice too.  But like I said I need a perinatologist.  The search on the hospital website gives me a number of names, but was wondering if anyone has any personal experience?  TIA! :)

    A friend of mine had a high risk pregnancy and her Doctor was Christine Brody. I'm not sure if she is a perinatologist, but my friend really liked her. Good luck!

    thanks!  After researching more, I found Sharp Mary Birch as well as a LOT of negative reviews about Scripps Encinitas :( ... I am still looking, but the distance/travel time looks to be almost the same (and longer for Scripps La Jolla) for me, with Sharp Mary Birch looking awesome to me so far.

    Sharp Mary birch is an amazing hospital for all high risk pregnancy a and twins. I had a few friends and my sister in law had twins. I was there a lot for my sister in law and all the staff are great. I will be giving birth there too! You won't find any better in San Diego!
