Baby not affectionate

Does anybody have a baby like this? My DD likes to be held but not for long. She has never been much of a cuddler. She is very active and loves to explore and crawls around nonstop. No separation anxiety at all. Part of me is happy she is independent but I also wish she liked to cuddle a little more. She is always happy when I pick her up from daycare but I just wish she showed it a little more.

    My DD is similar.  She is definitely a mama's girl and wants to be around me all the time, but she doesn't let me just sit and hold her.  She wants me to play with her or hold her while I'm walking around.  I babysit a baby boy her age and he is perfectly content to sit in my lap while I watch TV.  I love how active and fun DD is, but sometimes I wish she would just chill with me and snuggle.

    This is how DD was for a while, she didn't start getting snuggly until recently. It's mainly with me, but I'm also with her 24/7 literally. The past 2 week she always comes up and give me hugs and cuddles into me whenever I hold her. She was never like this though and even when we're at home, it's a quick hug and she won't let me pick her up because she's just play play play crawl crawl crawl destroy destroy destroy lol

    We have a nonsnuggly baby too. At least up until about two weeks ago when she started teething and shes been 100 mommy's baby ever since. She screams every time I set her down.

    DS has never been a snuggler.  No separation anxiety here either.  He does come over to me to "check in"  if he's playing.  He just wants me to hold him for a few seconds and then he squirms back out of my arms.

    That sounds just like dd lol. We only get little 2 second snuggles, where she'll lean her head against us for a couple seconds, then she's gone again.
