She's getting an oversized Anywhere Chair from Pottery Barn Kids as her "Santa" gift, and 4 small gifts from "us" -- we are doing "want, need, wear, read" for the girls from us, so they will get 5 total gifts at our house Xmas morning.
So, in addition to the chair, Cate will get a new toy of some sort (probably a little people set), a box of diapers, a complete outfit with shoes and a new book.
Our older girls are each getting a new Kindle Fire, so their 4 gifts from us will be similar -- simple, small things that they will actually use.
My family and the inlaws will give them tons of toys, so there's no need for us to do it.
We are getting Caleb a chair to sit in, then I picked up some toys at garage sales this summer. We won't get him very much since my in-laws will prpbably get him a ton of stuff.
My parents and ILs spoil DD and I am tired of cleaning up her toys (plus we're on a tight budget and she isn't to the age where she will notice yet) so I am just getting her a few stocking stuffers (things she needs like forks, some art supplies, etc). We may also get her a little table and chair set if I can talk DH into it.
We already bought her an activity cube. I bought her a stocking, one she will have for a long time, a doll for her stocking and an ornament for this year. I've already spent around $100. We are also getting her books, some piggy paint, snacks and bows for her stocking.
We're getting Alexis a ballet outfit and putting her in mommy and baby ballet for Spring which is going to be around $140 so that is going to take us over the $200 for sure. We are also setting up an IRA Roth for her in place of a savings for college. We have money saved up in her piggy bank and we are using that to set it up for Christmas. We spent under $80 on her last Christmas so I don't feel so bad about spending this much on her this time

Her big gift is a wooden play kitchen that is $115 on Amazon right now. I'm planning to get her a pots and pans set for it and then if any of our family asks what to get her, I'll ask them to pick out some play fruits/veggies to go along with it. I'm also considering a small indoor trampoline with handle, similar to one she's bounced on at an indoor play gym because she LOVES that thing, so if I get one of those too, they are close to $100. We'll see. I'm not sure of the budget yet!

This is us too. She gets WAY too much from the grandparents to justify me spending a ton of money. Plus, I'm running out of room to put the stuff she already has!
My cousin mentioned something to me a few years ago until that really stuck. Because we have such a large family that gives the kids gifts, she doesn't really get the kids gifts until they are old enough to realize that she didn't get them a gift! I will probably get a small item or two and some stocking stuffers, but that will be about it. Probably mostly things he already needs like socks or something!
I have no budget for dd because I haven't decided what we are going to buy her yet. If I find something I think she would like for 20 that could be it or I could spend 200. I'm inclined to spend less because she doesn't need anything and is really happy with simple things.
