Les Miserables

Am I the only one dying to see this movie?? Of course, I'll probably have to go see it alone. My husband has already stated that he will not go see this movie with me and my sister doesn't go to the movies! Too bad we all don't live closer together. We could have a girls night!

Re: Les Miserables

  • I would totally go with you! I LOVE going to movies. That is in fact one thing I miss so very much. Before I was married and living in Cali I would go to movies at least once a week. It was always our 5-person group of people and we'd always go together and have a blast. Then I moved here and my DH likes movies but he certainly doesn't ever crave going to movies and we really haven't been doing it much even before baby. Since DD was born we've only been to movies once to se Prometheus. So I'm dying to go to movies!

  • I am thinking of getting my Mom tickets for Christmas. She has seen the show but I haven't. My husband said he would watch the baby so we could go.

DH and I went to the movies once a week, as well, before DS was born. We kept regular movie dates (like once a month) until DD. It has now been over a year since I've been to the movies!! It's not that he wouldn't go to the movies with me, it's just his "latino macho" won't allow him to watch any movies with singing in them (with the exception of Sweeny Todd!!). Haha!

  • I'm terrified.  Les mis is my all time favorite book and musical.  Anne Hathaway as fantine makes me shudder.  But that said, I will be seeing it

LOL! My DH hates musicals. I'm actually not a fan either, but this one looks really good. :)

  • haha my DH told me that when he read that book, he literally, physically tore it in half because he was so disgusted and angry at all the sh*t that kept happening to them. I KNOW he wouldn't want to see it. :)

Oh my gosh! LOL! That bad, huh? I've actually never seen the show or read the book, so I have no idea about the story.
