This check-in posted each Tuesday. If you?d like to be added to this group, please reply to this message, and I?ll make sure to add you for next week. Welcome to the lurkers! We know this can be a difficult journey, but we welcome you with open arms. Let us know if we can answer any questions.

Oh my goodness, I'm cycling now! I think my period will come tomorrow. I transferred the big bucks, and now its time!!

My transfer is on Dec 9th. Money is gone, and now its real.

LOTS of deep breaths.

QOTW: I have an adorable cairn terrier and I promise you I never would have made it without him. He really lives in each moment, not the one before and not the one to come... I aspire to that. The thing we have in common is that we both often chase our tails.

QOTW: I have a kitty named Matrix. Funny because I never liked cats but my friend bought him for me after my divorce and I love him to pieces! Sunday I found out that my SIL was PG and of course was crying off and on all day and he came up on the bed with me and layed right next to me as if telling me everything will be alright. He hardly does that

Update: I went out to Baltimore for an appointment with my RE at Shady Grove on Monday. I had a mock ET and an ultrasound of my uterus, and everything looked good. I am on BCP's now, and our FET is scheduled for Jan. 21st.

QOTW: We have a beautiful 125-lb. Newfoundland. She is a total sweetheart. She's 7 now, but we got her when she was a puppy (25 lbs. at 10 weeks!). It's been an adventure!

Update: Had conversation with clinic. The donor is scheduled for retrieval on the 16th. As if we could have made that work. It's 11 day's from the time we first heard of her! God if I had been in my right mind I wouldn't have been roped in. Argh. Clinic said they would hold at least one set, possible 2 for us depending on the number retrieved. I'm happy with that. So we find out on Monday-ish what the reality is. They have my records and telephone consult is set for the 5th. So look we will be looking at 2013. Some sort of relief has set in now that we are eliminating my old eggs from the equation. So, we will just sit back and relax for a few weeks anyway. It'll be a nice break.

QOTW: We have our Pooch a cocker-pug mix, but mostly cocker. Floopy ears, soft fluffy coat. She has the pug chest but long straight legs, most people think she is just overweight, but she's fit and trim. Stupid looking thing really, but what a clown. It doesn't matter what she is doing, you can't help but watch her and laugh. Even when she is just having a nap, somehow there will be a random leg sticking out. That is her in my picture/icon thingy, at 6 weeks. She is 5 now. I just love that dog.

I agree. The transition is hard but knowing how much we were improving our odds added a certain sense of relief.

As most of you know, my cycle was a disaster and didn't work. The poor donor ended up with severe OHSS and was hospitalized. She has dropped out as a donor after that experience. I ordered the sperm DNA frag test and the tank is coming tomorrow. Once we have that info, we will decide what, if anything to do.

I just got the call from my RE's nurse- beta is rising nicely. I am at 1,293 now. They will check again on Monday, and we'll go from there. I am still being very cautious, but happy that things are moving in the right direction.

YES! We have two adorable pups and two cats. The cats don't cuddle, but the dogs do. Both are in my siggy, but you prob can't quite see Paco the black pug (you can make out his little pick tongue) and the tan guy is our "baby" puggle, Moose. The cats are Babycat and Baby Baby. We all sleep together in a full size bed. We love it. Can't imagine life without them and they help dry my tears when IF gets to be too much.

Just checking in. I see the facebook page seems slow. Update on me is that 30days after transfer, my Beta has gone to 942. No heartbeat, just an empty sac. So I am here and will try to check in here or on the IF board. Of course I will check in on the Facebook page also, its easier for me.

My darn cat used to cuddle with me when things were not right. He knew. However since I got marrried 6 years ago, he snubs me and cuddles with my husband not me. Traitor!!
