All of a sudden, my mom and sister are hounding me for ideas for what to get me for Christmas. I have no idea. Because usually if I want something, I impulse buy it. So I have everything I "want." All I can think of is a Keurig Mini. So tell me what you want, and maybe something will give me inspiration
Re: What do you want for Christmas?
my son to sleep through the night, or only wake up once.
seriously.
other than that? a massage.
DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d
I think I told my mom/hubby some black booties, my favorite shampoo/conditioner, chi straightener, sweaters, bras. Exciting right? haha
Baby Boy #2 is on the way!
Would love a spa gift certificate (massage, mani/pedi, facial....all equal relaxation and me time!). Unfortunately, gift cards are NOT my mom's style.
I'd really like someone to get us (as a family) a membership to the Children's Museum.
Maid service.
Gift card to Target or the grocery store. Or Amazon.
I would like a necklace with DD's birthstone (or some sort of jewelry about her) but i think I'd rather have that be from DH than my mom.
I really don't need any THINGS.....except diapers (not for me, obviously, but very much needed!). We live in a small house and it is already overflowing with stuff and I know DD will be getting more stuff, but DH and I don't really NEED anything. DH and I have basically stopped getting gifts for each other. I think we're doing gifts this Christmas, but for birthdays, anniversaries, etc, we tend to celebrate with experiences instead, which I prefer. I may be a scrooge, but gifts are my least favorite part of the holidays. I know that sounds awful. To make it worse, my mom likes to buy crap. She would rather buy us lots of small "cute" stuff than one big/nice present. Uggggh.
my read shelf:
Naked 2 Urban Decay eyeshadow
The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books
I'm excited for the movie to come out!
giftcards to Homegoods for a new living room rug
Good idea to ask for VS giftcards. I am so scared to see what bra size I end up being when LO is done BF.
Lawn games like ladder golf and corn hole for game afternoons with friends
We also asked for airline vouchers for a wedding in March and to travel home this summer.
My sister and I share one. Best invention ever! My birthday banners are awsome.
