What do YOU want for Christmas?

Petunia got me thinking. DH always asks me what I want and while I like surprises, usually I'll tell him something. What are you asking Santa Claus for this year? Big Smile

I asked for mostly yoga and running stuff this year, just cheap types of things. But I have a feeling (ok maybe I accidentally saw on our ebay account) that I MAY be getting the acoustic guitar of my dreams. I feel awful that I saw it because we set our cap at $50, so this is supposed to be a massive surprise. I also love surprises but am excited to get this! I have a crappy classical guitar that I bought in grade 6 and have been playing ever since. But I couldn't justify buying a nice one since I already owned a functioning one. What a sweet DH! Now to act surprised... Wink

That's awesome!! I am sure your delight will cover up accidentally seeing it... it's not like you peeked on purpose!

Hmm I actually haven't given much thought to that yet lol I would love a new car haha I actually want more of necessity type stuff or stuff for the house like new carpet!

I don't have a big list. I need a new battery for my laptop. I actually need a new laptop but its nowhere near the budget. LOL That's about it, really.

We talked about getting a carpet cleaner, with 3 kids and carpet everywhere kind of need one! Also getting a bread machine, we use ours weekly and its dying!

Ooo, bread maker! Very nice. I love homemade bread but loathe kneading (and my breads NEVER seem to turn out).

I would like a new digital SLR camera. But I also can't justify the expense. We have been living off one income for almost a year. DH isn't frugal so I have adopted that role. It gets him mad, since I returned the beautiful earrings he got for my bday. But I look at the kids and I'd rather save for them now.

Ok, in sddition to the camera I would love a new purse, and a necklace or bracelet with a charm for each kiddo.

So, I can think of a few things I want. But yesterday I told DH to forget anything I had said I wanted. I now want a cleaning service to come clean our kitchen and bathrooms. Maybe the blinds and baseboards too :] Really scub it all down, you know? I feel like I can't keep up lately... I feel so much better when the house is clean. It's tidy now, but due for a deep clean.

I've really been wanting a nice camera, too. He bought a video camera before we had DD, but I really want something that's good for still shots. But yeah, pricey. I probably won't ask for one.

I recently bought the Nikon D3100 before DS arrived and I absolutely LOVE it.. I'm asking for the 50-300mm lens, a lens protector, and possibly an extra battery.. considering the lens itself is over $300, my list is quite pricey

We also just bought an Ipad while I was on Mat leave, and that was going to be my gift for DH for xmas.. now I have no idea what I'm getting him!

Well as a PP said I would love a digital SLR camera, but it's not in the budget this year! DH and I have agreed not to go over $50 for each other since I'm not working right now. We're gonna do the "something you want (Coach wristlet from the outlet), something you need (undies, maybe? lol), something to wear (Toms shoes, an infinity scarf), and something to read (I have like 6 million books I'm asking for, lol).

We will give each other a list with a few different things so it will be sort of a "surprise". Now, let's see if MH can stick to the budget, which he basically never does!

For serious though, there really isn't much I NEED. I could use some new maternity clothes to replace stuff I wore into oblivion last time. I'd love someone to get me a gc to a prenatal massage for use in third tri. And a maid.
