It's NMS. It reminds me of Teen Mom. Here are some nymbler suggestions: Tate, Troy, Gray, Noah, Reid.

It's not my favorite, but I know 2 kids with this name. One Jase and one Jace. Neither Moms are "Teen Mom" in any way (plus I've never seen the show), so I have a more positive association with it, I guess.

I say if you like it, go for it!

I strongly dislike. My husband's name is Jason, and I don't even NN him Jace. Just seems very made up and trashy, and does not age well at all IMHO... Just go with Jason or even Jay!

I have 3-4 Jaces in my classes this year (I'm a music teacher, so I see lots of kids every day), and they're all NAUGHTY! Along with Tristans... I'm not crazy about the name because there seems to be a trend!

I like the name a lot and it was on our list before we decided on Everett. My brother who passed away was named Jason and I wanted something to honor him with without using his full name.

I don't watch Teen Mom but there is a Jace on Duck Dynasty.... If you have seen that show, DON'T let the guy named Jace sway you into not using the name. He is more red neck than anyone I have ever seen in my life and could make even the most classic name seem awful.
