Brushing teeth

For those who's LO's have teeth, have you started brushing them?

DD has 2 bottom teeth and has for about a month, I haven't started brushing them yet... :/ we have a toothbrush and paste that we got for her Easter basket and lately I've been letting her play with her brush and chew on it and stuff to get her used to it and she sits on the counter and watches me brush me teeth in the am.

How do you go about it? Once a day, twice a day?

    We brush at least once a day and DD loves it.  I think she really just likes the taste of the toothpaste.  She opens her mouth and lets me brush.  DD1 on the other hand still hates having her teeth brushed and it is a fight everyday.

    What kind of paste are you using? My ds has 6 teeth and I have been brushing with just water, but I've wanted to try the training paste. What age did you start with paste?

    I used a finger brush before LO had teeth. I brushed his little gums and when he got some chompers in we swithced to a brush. He has six teeth now!
