Hi Ladies,
I am now the proud mama of 3 beautiful and healthy children. We delivered our trio at 35 weeks and 4 days. Despite all the many times I went to L&D for intense contractions.... the night my water broke I felt none. I was staying with my mom since Hurricane Sandy left us with no power and was in the middle of an argument with her about why she shouldn't take tylenol pm because I could go into labor any second... and that is just what happened! We have been incredibly lucky and as of today, everyone is home. On November 1st, Ellie, was born at 4lbs 10oz and 18.5 inches long. Two minutes later we welcomed her sister, Mairead, weighing 4lbs 13oz and 17.5 inches long. At 1:25am, our son, Thomas joined us at 6lbs, 18 inches. Our big boy was the one that needed the most monitoring but he is home and snug now and all 3 are doing great.
The ten days in the NICU were so helpful for us and surprisingly, very smooth. We have learned so much from the nurses there and we are doing our best to keep the schedule they established. Thanks so much to everyone for all their advice during the pregnancy! Now that our babies are here, I am sure I will be posting lots!
