My toddler just broke his plate and we need to replace it. I think he likes having the divided compartments for condiments and stuff, but I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks.
You only had one plate? Walmart's seasonal plates tend to have compartments, I buy them on clearance at the end of the seasons- cheaper than toddler plates. Of course, there are divided plates in several characters.
Target has several compartment plates, a set of two cheapies for #1, I think, and a small selection of characters. We have one compartment plate that DD1 likes for foods with dips, but most of the time we use these Munchkin plates:
We have lots of little "cheap" toddler plates that he uses for lunch and snacks. But for dinner he uses a plate with compartments that also has a large rectangular base so it doesn't slip around...It's called something like the skip hop mate plate (I bought it at Target).

Tupperware sells cafeteria tray-like plates.
