Testes Tuesday Anyone?

Re: Testes Tuesday Anyone?

  • Mine is lame but annoying none the less. I sent DH to the store yesterday to buy some pads for me before he picked J up from DC. The only specifications I had were I needed maxi pads in super absorbency. Easy, right? Nope. I'm waiting in the bathroom for him when he comes home and he throws me the package. A purple package. A purple Poise package of bladder control pads. They are 3 feet long and 10 inches thick... wtf? Can you not read, DH??? His response was "They said super and that's what you said to get." Dumb, DH, dumb.

ETA: yes, I am waddling around in one because I refuse to waste them!

  • LOL Ashley!

Mine is lame, but it drives me nuts.  We use Playtex drop-ins bottles and just leave them on the counter until one of us does dishes (usually until I do dishes).  DH seems to think it's helpful to throw away the liner and then neatly organize the bottles, nipples caps and rings on the counter.  Just wash them!

I am so sorry but I am LMAO! That sounds like something DH would do.

My TT is about a guy I work with. We need an employee to perform general lab duties so the full task of getting a job announcement out was put on me. He is on the damn hiring committee, in charge of the lab, and I can't even get him to look over the applications. This is so typical. I just want to scream...DO YOUR JOB!

  • I'm really sick. I went to the doctor yesterday and after chest x-rays and the whole round of vitals and other tests the diagnois was: low oxygen levels, strep throat, ear infection, and bronchitis. I was told to stay in and rest, preferably sleep, as much as possible or I'd end up with pneumnoia.

There is SO much to do around the house and all DH wants to do is watch TV because I'm "not doing anything either." Dude. No. I'm so sick. If I wasn't sick, I'd be up doing shiit. I frucking hate having cable, and then I went and let him buy a new flat screen TV. Worst decision ever. This is exactly the reason we got rid of cable at the old house. He gets so sucked in he can't do anything else. I'm so piissed. He used to be so awesome and helpful and lately he just suucks. He uses every excuse to watch that damn TV. I want my mama Crying

  • My DH wants a medal because he watched Olivia last night and took her to buy shoes.  I hate saying stuff like this but I'm not sure how many more times this week I can say, oh do you mean WHAT I DO ALL THE TIME!?

  • I have contracted the stupid cold that my nieces had last week.  If I lie down I might as well not breathe it's easier that way.  My mom was going to drop by today and last night, while I was putting the kids to bed and feeling like death, DH, kindly decided to do the dishes.  Now considering this is one of three chores he is supposed to do around the house, it shouldn't have been a surprise to me to hear the sounds of dishes.  I came downstairs and the dishes were mostly done.  The clean ones were piled into the drain rack and the sink and he said, "I am not bothering to put them away, I am pretty tired."

I looked around the kitchen that despite the dishes being done was  still a disaster and said, "Thanks for helping out a bit with the kitchen,  it should save me some time in the morning before my mom gets here.  At least I won't have to do most of the dishes before I clean."  This was not said sarcastically, this was actual gratitude as most mornings I end up doing the night befores dishes because DH "forgets"

His response is to say, "What do you mean? I cleaned the whole kitchen,  just because I left two pots to soak doesn't mean you still have lots to do."  And he was actually angry.  I was too tired to argue and just went upstairs to die in a bathroom full of steam.  This morning I spent an hour cleaning up the kitchen from his evening alone and last night.  I would love to know where he gets his definition of clean from.  I mean his parents place is always spotless so I don't know how his got so warped.
