OB Suggestions in Fair Oaks?

in D.C. Area Babies
Hi!  We are looking to switch OBs (currently using one affiliated with Reston Hospital Center, but I would prefer to be in the Inova network).  Anyone have recs (or warnings!) for OBs affiliate with Fair Oaks hospital?

    LOVE LOVE LOVE greenbriar OBGYN.  There are 4 docs and a NP in the practice. One doc is male and the rest are female.  My favorites are Dr P and Dr G but they are all great and only deliver at fair oaks 703-359-5900

    I second Greenbriar. I personally love Dr. Shin. She's the youngest dr there, but she did a fantastic job with my last minute csection delivery two years ago.

    I have been going to Fair Ridge OBGYN, which is located in the Fair Oaks Hospital buildings. They are fantastic - a group of 3 doctors and a NP. All have been really helpful and listen to all of my questions since I am a first time mom. Hope you find some place that works for YOU!!

    I am also switching OB's and I heard good things about Dr. Hodges at Fair Ridge. We went for the appointment and he was not there and they took us an hour after our appointment time. The doctor we met with was from Jamaica. I'm Bi-Racial and my husband is White and she kept asking us if we had other kids. We're both well educated people and we have been together for 10 years and married for 8.5. We should not have to defend our marriage. It just seemed really weird and uncomfortable. The office staff was nasty too, but I never did meet with Dr. Hodges. The office staff was so rude that another patient who had her baby there even told me don't worry, "The staff is rude, but Dr. Hodges is good." I will check out Greenbriar.

    I know Dr. Hodges personally and I am shocked to hear that his office is full of rude employees.  That's something that I would not expect from him.  His family is wonderful and he is a very genuinely nice man.  I've heard good things about Fair Ridge, but because I know him outside of being a Dr., I just couldn't bring myself to be a patient of his.  LOL

    Greenbriar is right across the hall on the same floor as Fair Ridge.
