stroller adapters?

So, this is a little different of a stroller question. We have a Bready with both seats as our every day stroller.. but was looking at getting some sort of a double umbrella stroller. I thought I had heard of, or read somewhere that you can get two single strollers and link them together with an adapter? Is this true, if so, does anyone do it and like it? OR can anyone just recommend their double umbrella stroller? I really don't want to spend a fortune on it since it wont be an everyday stroller.

Re: stroller adapters?
Never tried them, but we did get a Maclaren twin triumph off of Craigslist for $50. It took close to a year of looking for me, but I finally got a cheap one - and it worked out well for us!
