I had bad swelling in one foot and leg after my c section. I actually went in to get checked because I was freaked out about a blood clot. I had a lot of fluids though before, during, and after my c section so that is why.
My feet/ankles were more swollen after my c-section than they were during my pregnancy. The swelling was gone in less than two weeks.
Same! I never had swelling during pregnancy but after my c section... I called my feet Shrek feet and I also had this for exactly 2 weeks. It will go away and everyone's different but typically it's about 2 weeks.

Yes, it is very common and it happened to me. I had severe swelling while pregnant and it actually got worse after my c-section. Three weeks later, my legs and feet are starting to look back to normal. I was told it could take up to a month for the swelling to go away and to do all the same things I did when I was pregnant to relieve it.
I had swelling from fluid retention for a week or two after each c/s. I came home not weighing much less than I did when I went to the hospital. It wasn't painful, just annoying - I couldn't wear regular shoes home from the hospital. I didn't have any swelling during either pregnancy, and once the water weight came off I was back to pre-pregnancy weight pretty quickly.

I had swelling all over after my c-section. I actually weighted 8 pounds more than before giving birth. At 2 weeks pp the swelling was completely gone. If you swell drink lots and lots of water. It helps!!

I had severe swelling. My legs and feet felt like they were going to pop if anyone touched them and it was painful and uncomfotable to stand.
A lot of my swelling was due to being induced with pitocin, 21 hours of labor and then it ending in a c/s. Swelling is super common.
