I'm looking for a good protein bar with minimal fake junk and low sugar. I need something to get me through the between breakfast and lunch time. Thanks!
My favorite protein bars are actually at my local grocery store. They are made of much more "real" ingredients. I'm sure they're imitating another brand, but I'm not sure what. I am kind of cheap when it comes to protein bars. I think Kashi and Lara Bars are going to be more natural, but like I said, I'm kind of cheap so I haven't gotten them!
I can tell you NOT to get Pure Protein bars. Taste more like Pure Ass.
Nature Valley makes tasty ones, but I do think you need to watch the sugar. The best I've found in my local grocery are Kashi. They aren't marketed as "protein" bars, but the peanut butter and trail mix flavored ones each have about 6 or 7 grams of protein. Even better if you can pair it with a yogurt. But try a health food store if there is one near you.
The Luna Protein line is really tasty, and they're lower in fat than most of the others. No weird ingredients, either. My favorite is the chocolate almond cherry, but mint chocolate is a very close second.

I second this. I love Luna bars. So far, the Lemon Zest is my favorite, but I haven't tried those two flavors yet (putting them on my list! lol). They aren't the most delicious thing in the world, but they taste pretty good, I have been eating one for breakfast every morning (goes to find one right now). And they are super filling; I find that I can go all day without getting hungry after eating one.
ETA: Had the chocolate raspberry one this morning and it is definitely in the "favorite" category. I typically don't even like raspberry flavored things but it was soooo good.
I've also heard that the "Kind" bars are good, but I haven't tried them myself.
I like Think Thin bars. They're high protein and low sugar. I also like to get trail mix pouches, since they're high in protein too and don't have a bunch of weird stuff like some bars have.

If you're concerned about artificial sweetners, these aren't the best option. They're sweetened with Maltitol.
The ones I eat are the Nature Valley Protein Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate bars. They have the lowest amount of carbs, since I really have to watch my carb intake. Only 14g carbs, 10g protein, and 6g sugar. I'm really not big on peanut butter but these are the lowest carb/highest protein that I've found. The Lara bars are delicious especially the apple cobbler and cherry cobbler but very high in carbs. So it kind of depends on exactly what you are looking for.
I found a brand called Life Choice at Walmart... much cheaper than Clif Bars (which I love!!! especially for bike rides) but some of them have a protein count of up to 21 grams, norm being around 9 - 11 grams. I love the Fudge Graham one. I eat a lot of protein bars even when not pregnant because I am prone to low blood sugar and they really help keep my blood sugar regulated... I also found that early in my pregnancy they helped me not be so nauseous.

ETA: Clearly I meant Luna bars, not Lara bars.

I love Cliff bars but you have to find the right flavor. I really like the white chocolate macadamia nut!
