Parent facing stroller

My 3 month old is not a fan of the stroller I currently have because he cannot see whoever is pushing him. So I have been researching an inexpensive parent facing stroller and came across the First Years Indigo Stroller. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this stroller. Thanks!

Re: Parent facing stroller

  • we too wanted a parent-facing stroller. it seems weird to me to have the baby always facing away from you. we looked at that one, but it didn't have good enough reviews for me. Buuuut its pretty cheap so that might be a mitigating factor.

    We got this one: https://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=12066597

Its basically identical to the JJ Cole Broadway, but cheaper. we're in Canada, so... That said, I like it a lot. I like that I can flip it on the go without having to take the baby out. Cons are that the basket is small and not easy to access, its heavy, has to be taken apart to put in car, wide... but DD seems comfortable, so...

  • We have the JJ Cole broadway, and it works really well for us. I love how I can spin DD2 to face whichever way we want without having to take her out. Plus, I can turn it into a bassinet of the fly if we need to change her, or she wants to nap. The basket is large, but the cross bars make it hard to get into. My diaper bag is a pain to get in and out, but does fit inside.

  • You could try the Peg Perego Switch 4. I tested it out and liked it but ultimately ended up going with a the Pliko 3 instead because the parent facing wasn't as an important of a feature to me at the age that my son is now.

  • We have the Graco Flip It travel system. It was very inexpensive and has held up nicely. The steering is a little wonky to when you flip the handle though since the stationary wheels are on the "wrong" side.
