how many weeks was yours scheduled at?

i cant remember from last time around lol...so i'll ask you guys! how many weeks were you when you scheduled your csection date? i know it'll be my 39th wk that i go in, but when did your dr book your date/time with your hospital?

Are these the dates that you found out when your c/s would be or the dates that you actually had your baby? im trying to get an idea when my dr will let me know what date our c/s will be for this baby (im guessing my next appointment or the one after that).

We scheduled mine during my visit at 35w2d, my actual date was 39w2d. My doctor likes to talk about putting you on the calendar around 36w and performs around 39w.

The OP knows when the actual c/s will be performed - in her 39th week.

She wants to know when it was actually scheduled. When was it actually put on the calendar at the hospital? Were you 28 weeks when you found out? 32? 36?

Sorry, neither of my c/s were scheduled.

With our first child, my DD, my OB scheduled us I believe at my 36w appt for 39w on the dot.

With our son, we got our date at 36w as well, he was a RCS at 38w.

I am currently 24 wks along and already have my RCS scheduled for 2/18. I scheduled it a few weeks ago during my last doctor's appt.

At my first appointment at 13 weeks my Dr. was willing to book the surgery. Of course, the emergencies will bump me, but as it stands, Im booked in and the hospital has already called to book my preadmit appointment.(not until Feb)

The dates that were scheduled and I had my babies.

Typically, I've scheduled my RCS when I was 32 weeks (our hospital doesn't allow you to schedule beforehand).

My OB's office called me to schedule my C-section the day before my 30 week appointment. They base it off the hospital's OR scheduling policy which is to schedule surgeries about 2 months in advance.

So I scheduled it on October 31st (when I was 30 weeks 1 day) for January 3rd (when I will be 39 weeks 2 days)

Mine was scheduled for 39 weeks exactly so my OB could do the surgery herself. We knew general date and time around 37 weeks, but got it confirmed after a short hospital stay at 38 weeks.

This is my 3rd c/s so we knew I was having another one. I got mine scheduled around my 24-25 wk appt. It's scheduled for 39.5 weeks (1/17), but he said once we get closer, I may be able to bump it up to 38 weeks depending on baby

My dr likes to have the early c/s's so he can make rounds that morning (which is COMPLETELY fine with me). So, our c/s is schedualed for 7am on the 17th.

It very much depends on your particular physician and facility. My doc is very busy and I deliver at an exceptionally busy hospital and I am already scheduled for my third cs on May 22nd, 2013. I would definitely ask if you can schedule at your next appointment.

We booked our date at 28 weeks but we were pretty certain he wasn't going to last that long inside. Joke was on us though...I delivered him at exactly 39 weeks...on the day we scheduled.

With DD, I had a csection (scheduled) at 37 weeks due to pre-e. With DD#2, my csection has been scheduled for 39 weeks exactly. We scheduled it at my 28 week check-up.

After having a growth u/s at 35 weeks and determining that DD was breech still (had been since 28 wks) we scheduled my c-section at my 36 week appt for 39 weeks exactly with the understanding that if she flipped before then it would be canceled, obviously.

At 29 weeks the doctor told me to call the scheduler and get my c/s on the books. It is scheduled for 39w1d.

Nina was breech so we knew early on it was a good possibility she would be a c section. My c section was scheduled when I was about 34 weeks and I had her at 39 weeks.
