Overnight diaper for big 2 year old

We have been using the Huggies Overnights, but DS is outgrowing the biggest size and we need another option. What is the best overnight diaper/pullup for this size? I'm not sure how much he weighs, but he's definitely over 35 lbs and in a 2T/3T. He still pees a lot at night and wakes up soaked, sometimes thru the diaper and jammies!

Thanks!!

Re: Overnight diaper for big 2 year old

  • I really like the White Cloud brand at Walmart. My 2 year old is a bit of a chunker and they fit her nicely and she doesn't soak through them. I've found that the biggest pull ups are Dollar General or Family Dollar brand. I can't remember which one has better absorbency, but since walmart is about 40 minutes from me, I grab them sometimes.

This the Pampers overnights are better than Huggies IMO; We use size 6 nightimes and they are amazing. :) They are hard to come by in my area...Target usually has them.

  • He is in a pampers size 6 for the daytime diaper and huggies overnight size 6 at night, but they are leaking a lot and are snug. I have never tried pampers overnight, but I'm assuming they would be about the same size.

I always liked pampers over huggies in general so maybe give it a try for a few nights?

  • My 44 pound 2 year old pees through everything! We are having luck with the Good Nights size 3/4s but now he pees through those as well. I have just decided I have to change him before I go to bed otherwise he pees through, I've literally tried every over night diaper made!!

  • My DS1 is huge for his age and we had the same problem - in my opinion, the pampers overnights size 6 are bigger than the huggies size six.  I also use a diaper insert from babies are us to give us more absorbancy.
  • We use the Parent's Choice overnight diapers (Wal-Mart brand).  My son wears a size 5, but I think they make them in a size 6.  They work well for us.  I use to buy Huggies, but I've also tried Pampers.  I liked the Huggies better, but they are both too expensive.  These overnight diapers are like $14 for a box of 70.  That lasts a long time when you are only using 1 per night.  Good luck :)
