So LO is still eating 2 meals per day: 2 oz fruit am and 2 oz veggies night, we will introduce a 3rd soon and puree meat at 9 mo per ped.
We havent tried puffs yet, but see a lot of posts on this. Is there nutritional value in these, if not, what is the purpose of feeding-to get used to grabbing I assume?
Thanks!
Re: Puffs
I just started giving them to LO so he can practice his grabbing skills. He still won't eat food pieces because he cannot get past the texture. In the meantime, I put two or three on his tray and he spends a long time chasing them and moving them around in his hands. Occasionally, he will put them in his mouth and then spit it out.
I am pretty entertained, actually.
This. I do give her more than 5 though, probably about 10. I give her those little rice rusk cups too. She gets 1 after dinner every night and she gets puffs after lunch. Nothing after breakfast.
